The corner ended in Tony Plumber almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Eusébio Hoffmann did a great save. 20 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Harper came free, but Eusébio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyn Harper in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Bettney in the 23rd minute of play forced Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Eusébio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Pombal got free with Ross Armitage in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Ted Bettney notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Eusébio Hoffmann. Eusébio Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusébio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Plumber in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Plumber in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Harper came free, but Eusébio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Browne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Henley on Thames United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thierry Bianchini to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Breno Brodel. Eusébio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Plumber, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Hayden Watkins put in a rough tackle. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After 63 minutes of play, Henley on Thames United's Gwyn Harper made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Ted Bettney got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio-Fernando Fenomeno to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gavin Freeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavin Freeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ted Bettney sent off a good shot on target. Reinaldo Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Henley on Thames United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
