Union Madereros's protests and gave Leonides Isidor a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Inculeț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Ourente came free, but Emil Inculeț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Deșliu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Daniel Laurendi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Inculeț was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 56 minutes, Cornelio Servando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Union Madereros and the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonard Deșliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Róbert Szepesvári made a huge save.
