Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cidro in the 5th minute of play. Octav Buta hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Eudoxio in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Brumaru saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. Celso Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Latorre in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Petre Bogătan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Arsenio Eudoxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal and Arsenio Eudoxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Bădescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Celso Janpier made a huge save. In the 26th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Bucur to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Eudoxio in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Brumaru saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celso Janpier, passed just outside the right post. If Ciprian Gaiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Teodorescu. Ciprian Gaiță charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciprian Gaiță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Gaiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. José Luis Cucciufo hit a great ball. Celso Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Ciprian Gaiță off the ground. Defensores de Lombroso's Domingos Cedro was substituted for Diego Latorre. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ciprian Gaiță hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Teodorescu came free, but Celso Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes in the game Miguel-Angel Merentiel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arsenio Eudoxio. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
