Spectators: 7139 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 125) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aristides Castel took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Aristides Castel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Róbert Szepesvári. Aristides Castel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 7th play minutes Ismael Ourente shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Natalio Mitxaut and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruperto Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Geordi Berthelette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Erviti to maneuver through the defense. SAN LORENZO FC's Natalio Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Ourente in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Club Dep. Union Madereros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Manny to maneuver through the defense. Federico Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Róbert Szepesvári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Castel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Ourente made a kick off. Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With an all-out effort, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Natalio Mitxaut threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ismael Ourente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Club Dep. Union Madereros booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Erviti didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Castel in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Róbert Szepesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAN LORENZO FC's Nereo Rodas has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. Cornelio Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Jenaro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Szepesvári prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natalio Mitxaut made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ismael Ourente sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Róbert Szepesvári, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
