Spectators: 7841 (Terracing: 5882, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olimpiu Teodorescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Aregger to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Gaiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Akira Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Berthold Boller. Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Alin Bucur. Andres Ambühl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Freeman Mächler took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Brumaru. Ilie Brumaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Schär in the 14th minute of play. Fabian Schär could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ilie Brumaru made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akira Schmid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Gaiță in the 23rd minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Akira Schmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Schär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Cosula-BTF- from getting a goal against them. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freeman Mächler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akira Schmid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olimpiu Teodorescu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Gaiță in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute FC Cosula-BTF- were awarded a corner. Octav Buta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Cosula-BTF-'s Octav Buta to fire away a dangerous shot which Akira Schmid despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Schär in the 41st minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olimpiu Teodorescu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Teodorescu couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Raphael Aregger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akira Schmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Teodorescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akira Schmid. Espen Steelers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Teodorescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 57th minute, Aurel Lăceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Petre Bogătan hit a great ball. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär. But to his dismay, Fabian Schär quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Gaiță got free with Akira Schmid in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Gartenmann to maneuver through the defense. When Olimpiu Teodorescu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the FC Cosula-BTF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Teodorescu couldn't finish the play. After 88 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Octav Buta. Aurel Lăceanu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Akira Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Espen Steelers were the better team. Espen Steelers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
