Academica Pulheim were furious when Otto Kuhn was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Otto Kuhn got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 68 played minutes, Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Buba Lopez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academica Pulheim reached it. After 75 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Rybohl. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when ★ Lobos FC ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Hurtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes, Jorge Alvarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ★ Lobos FC ★ and the Academica Pulheim players grew even worse after the yellow card.
