Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Çanakkale's Fabian Deput started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kadim Yağızbay scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Kemal Oncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökmen Çoğa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Trigo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Fabian Deput left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çanakkale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Fabian Deput who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadim Yağızbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Çanakkale's Dudu Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Corrêa. That made the score 4-0 after 30 minutes of play. Dida Baiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of Vascogoianiense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vascogoianiense FC. Bernardo Corrêa had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping İsmail Cem Eroğlu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Trigo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Manuel Segovia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vascogoianiense FC's Hélder Trigo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çanakkale's goalie prevented a goal. Matheus Paraíba hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Oncu to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gökmen Çoğa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Gökmen Çoğa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Trigo in the 71st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Fabian Deput left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çanakkale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 88 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kadim Yağızbay came free, but Bernardo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Dudu Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Hélder Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Çanakkale players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
