If Severino Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 10 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Massa. 14 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Hurtado came free, but Alfredinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Felipe Medina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★ Lobos FC ★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Paulista the free kick. In the 17th minute, one of ★ Lobos FC ★:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ★ Lobos FC ★. Buba Lopez had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Marquinhos Pena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 19th minute, Marquinhos Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Buba Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Buba Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Soares's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Rolando Larios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Severino Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Buba Lopez was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Eduardo Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Buba Lopez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Clube Atlético Paulista fans cheered their team off the field, for while ★ Lobos FC ★ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
