Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Aurelio Irrintzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Villegas Pardaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ursino Silvestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, West Town SC's Cain Blue ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Irrintzi. Aurelio Irrintzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cain Blue in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. West Town SC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Barrenta SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cain Blue took the corner. Marquinhos Messias's late challenge caught a West Town SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Messias helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Messias. Aurelio Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiyo Corono in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Arramendia came free, but Aurelio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ursino Silvestre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remo Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Villegas Pardaves made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Guillermo Raiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Irrintzi came out of the goal and Guillermo Raiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Arramendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aurelio Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Virila Calvon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Marquinhos Messias made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villegas Pardaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barrenta SC's Aurelio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Raiz in the 92nd minute of play. If Raúl Arramendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
