Spectators: 7774 (Terracing: 5831, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roy Huston took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oscar Confesor kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Islas FC's Oscar Confesor in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. In the 18th minute of the match Israel Goyo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Ángel Santoro skillfully saved the ball. Israel Goyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Ángel Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Islas FC's Israel Goyo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Islas FC's Wincent Knopek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Huston in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Roy Huston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Knopek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Islas FC's Wincent Knopek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Huston in the 28th minute of play. Ferdinand Bauer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincent Knopek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Guy Becerra hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Oscar Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Goyo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Confesor to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Oscar Confesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ángel Santoro came out of the goal and Oscar Confesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Israel Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Islas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Goyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Ángel Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Islas FC's Israel Goyo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Ángel Santoro. That made the score 0-2 after 64 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Roy Huston got a free kick in the 67th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Becerra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Israel Goyo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Ángel Santoro. The goal made the score 0-3. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Oscar Confesor struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islas FC. Israel Goyo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Ángel Santoro. Miguel Ángel Santoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Oscar Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Santoro having to interfere.
