Reac Futebol Clube's Fausto Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Txeru in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Sabino in the 5th minute of play forced Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fausto Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Bidun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reac Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilson Reis in the 14th minute. A collision led to Chelsea Football Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gualterio Qwinton hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Reis struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Felipe Acevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reac Futebol Clube. Felipe Acevedo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adelino de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Bidun came free, but Fausto Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chelsea Football Club booed when Reac Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Bilek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Txeru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo got control of the ball when Adelino de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reac Futebol Clube's Zézinho Tinoco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felipe Acevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Baldomiro Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Tinoco came free, but Felipe Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Reac Futebol Clube's Nildo Teles got a free kick in the 47th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Txeru in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Leite saved Reac Futebol Clube from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino de Alcântara made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino de Alcântara in the 53rd minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Felipe Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Ivan Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Bidun got free with Fausto Leite in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Leite made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Angelino Bidun sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Txeru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fausto Leite came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivan Txeru slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. Angelino Bidun's late challenge caught a Reac Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Bidun helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Machado in the 76th minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Felipe Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Txeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fausto Leite made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fausto Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Bidun. With his leg Fausto Leite managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelino Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Leite having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match Aquilino Basualdo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Reac Futebol Clube's Nildo Teles got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Reac Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chelsea Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Chelsea Football Club.
