The crowd rose to their feet as Danone CC's Szczepan Mosiniak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Filipo. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Grajewski in the 10th minute of play forced Florida United's goalkeeper Miguel Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Cyprian Grajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyprian Grajewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Primo in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Luis Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Dimas in the 19th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Dimas in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Luis Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Casomiro hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Florida United's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Grajewski came free, but Miguel Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Marcelo Casomiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Danone CC's Otávio Massa. Otávio Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Dimas was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Danone CC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Florida United:s goal. Salvador Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Szczepan Mosiniak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Filipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Miguel Filipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 74th minute of the match. Florida United's Miguel Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Veloso in the 74th minute of play. Otávio Massa made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Guido Primo sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Florida United's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Macedo came free, but Miguel Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Dimas. Clemente Recife scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Filipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Filipo came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Júnior Veloso. But to his dismay, Júnior Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Danone CC had won after a very even match.
