The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Larry Butt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Enéas Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Curtis Higgins. The goal made the score 2-0. Otávio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Hampshire, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gerry Roebuck hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The Danone CC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Danone CC's Enéas Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Symons in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Veloso in the 34th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Curtis Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Curtis Higgins successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Curtis Higgins made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Júnior Veloso sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Hampshire to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rupert Hampshire to strike the kick off in the second half. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Curtis Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Veloso in the 51st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Clemente Recife made a precise shot to the right of Curtis Higgins. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Curtis Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior Veloso went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Curtis Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Mosiniak in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Cyprian Grajewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clapham Comets F.C.'s Curtis Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
