Matias Gombal ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the game, Laureano Natanael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damaso Panfilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the game, Gogo Brun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AQUILES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furia Calamar the free kick. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Laureano Natanael elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 26th minute Jacinto Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AQUILES fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when AQUILES's Laureano Natanael looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Matthew to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Natanael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Gombal hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes, Ronaldo Martínez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furia Calamar and the AQUILES players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Natanael in the 45th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Damaso Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Natanael was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jacinto Berasko had to leave the field with a concussion. Higinio Shantala's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Shantala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute Javier Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Duarte in the 56th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Reynaldo Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Freddy Senin hit a great ball. Reynaldo Jenaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Matthew in the 57th minute of the match. Damaso Panfilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Eguntsenti went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Furia Calamar's zone, Laureano Natanael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Panfilo came out of the goal and Laureano Natanael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Higinio Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the AQUILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Shantala couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Laureano Natanael took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Damaso Panfilo to make any attempt to save it. Reynaldo Jenaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Matthew went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Eguntsenti got free with Damaso Panfilo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Higinio Shantala hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Damaso Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Natanael in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Prospero Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised. The AQUILES players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
