Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iturri Soldevilla in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Eriksson came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iturri Soldevilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Toni Schumacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuhaitz Artiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes HEJA ESLÖV got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Kleen. In the 32nd minute, Garaile Pacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bergsten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhaitz Artiaga came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuhaitz Artiaga in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Garaile Pacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Bergsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Socavon FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Michael Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Geleberto Monjo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Socavon FC and the HEJA ESLÖV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Geleberto Monjo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Socavon FC defense, Karl-Michael Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toni Schumacher. The Socavon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toni Schumacher should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes of play, HEJA ESLÖV's Karl-Michael Eriksson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toni Schumacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garaile Pacio. In the 73rd match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuhaitz Artiaga to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes HEJA ESLÖV got a freekick which was hit by Rune Stenman. Simon Bergsten was a little too slow when Garaile Pacio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Eriksson during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuhaitz Artiaga in the 94th minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Contero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Socavon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Socavon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
