Spectators: 7777 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlitos p'Bitek started the match with the kick off. 24 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Donato Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oto Hierro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Novaes. Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Fohat Neyen from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Válter Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Arósio in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fohat Neyen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aírton Bertassi was slow to take the kick. During this time Dogelo's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Messias to maneuver through the defense. When Hortêncio Messias got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Dogelo. After 46 minutes of play, Dogelo's Gino Arósio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oto Hierro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Stuparu Fredager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fohat Neyen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dogelo the free kick. After 50 played minutes Fohat Neyen got a freekick which was hit by Stuparu Fredager. After 51 played minutes, Dogelo's Aírton Bertassi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oto Hierro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogelo reached it. Võ Gozali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos p'Bitek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Hortêncio Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Niolaao Balbin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fohat Neyen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niolaao Balbin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fohat Neyen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amancio Burualla in the 72nd minute. Fohat Neyen's Niolaao Balbin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Võ Gozali in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Donato Nogueira's late challenge caught a Fohat Neyen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. Donato Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Oto Hierro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match Dogelo got a corner. Fohat Neyen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aírton Bertassi ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Hortêncio Messias managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 90 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Donato Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oto Hierro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fohat Neyen's Oto Hierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Arósio in the 92nd minute of play. Võ Gozali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlitos p'Bitek in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Nogueira came free, but Oto Hierro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
