Altamora FC's Alípio Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Gonchan in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Eguen in the 5th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Alípio Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Zeferino Lage notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PGE FC's Alberto Diagur. Alberto Diagur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute Zeferino Lage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as PGE FC's Esteban Frasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alípio Franco. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. After 23 played minutes PGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Cuartio. Altamora FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Guillermo Eguen scored to the left of an out of position Alípio Franco, making the score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, PGE FC's Guillermo Eguen got a free kick in the 38th minute. Alípio Franco made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Esteban Frasco sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes of play, PGE FC's Guillermo Eguen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alípio Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudemiro Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Blas Gonchan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altamora FC the free kick. A collision led to PGE FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Blas Gonchan hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Claudemiro Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alípio Franco came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by PGE FC's Esteban Frasco. But to his dismay, Esteban Frasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Blas Gonchan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Gonchan came free, but Alípio Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Gonchan in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alípio Franco saved Altamora FC from getting behind. After 78 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademar Baía who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ademar Baía almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PGE FC's Alberto Diagur did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeferino Lage got free with Alberto Diagur in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alípio Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the game, PGE FC's Cristo Gonchan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alípio Franco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.
