After a defensive mix-up in CSD Concepción's zone, Martin Dascălu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleazar Vera came out of the goal and Martin Dascălu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Martin Dascălu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Dascălu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleazar Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Dascălu in the 39th minute of play. Joaquín Patron scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pompiliu Şteţ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Dascălu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pompiliu Şteţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Macuer in the 53rd minute of the match. When Robert Bot came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the The Huns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Bot couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, The Huns's goalkeeper Pompiliu Şteţ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mónico Muñiz. Romeo Oprișan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The Huns's Pompiliu Şteţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Macuer in the 64th minute of play. Pompiliu Şteţ came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by CSD Concepción's Santiago Macuer. But to his dismay, Santiago Macuer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Valentin Boboc charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Boboc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pompiliu Şteţ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mónico Muñiz in the 81st minute. Eleazar Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Bot in the 88th minute of play. Mónico Muñiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Pompiliu Şteţ made a huge save. The The Huns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CSD Concepción's performance. The match ended with a win for CSD Concepción.
