The Huns's Traian Stoicescu suffered a sore foot after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 16 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Mentus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zryw Samsonów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Huns the free kick. The Huns made a substitution. Petru Burdulea replaced Traian Stoicescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Perșa got free with Hugon Derlanga in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Podwojski in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Petruț Răduleț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iustin Perșa scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugon Derlanga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Zryw Samsonów from getting a goal against them. Martin Pânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Miecznikowski in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zryw Samsonów's Artur Dziedelonis got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Petru Burdulea came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the The Huns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Burdulea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Zryw Samsonów's Milosz Podwojski got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hunor Bacsó didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Zryw Samsonów's Kazimierz Grocholski tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dominik Miecznikowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petruț Răduleț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Martin Pânzaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hugon Derlanga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Oprișan in the 63rd minute of the match. Borys Kissel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Zryw Samsonów got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Miecznikowski. If Iustin Perșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zryw Samsonów booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Stroe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
