After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Geraldo Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Miguel came out of the goal and Geraldo Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Barreto in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hamílton Simão hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Cristóvão de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Miguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Erik Donatello. Fernando Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Vergílio in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio da Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes, Futbol Club RRFV's Hamílton Simão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caio da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Futbol Club RRFV reached it. Fernando Miguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão de Salles in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rubinho Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abutres 2003 FDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Miguel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Miguel having to interfere.
