The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Dahlquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Walmarsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Warriors of Gora™'s goalkeeper Njegovan Baletić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee ignored Warriors of Gora™'s protests and gave Zlatosav Koljenović a yellow card for diving instead. Claes Grubb hit a great ball. Warriors of Gora™'s Radoslav Krneta got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Newcastle United F.C. defense, Zlatosav Koljenović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffer Dahlquist. The Newcastle United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Dahlquist should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Vićentije Čović took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Christoffer Dahlquist to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when Warriors of Gora™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Momčilo Zafirović didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Radisav Rajković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Radisav Rajković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Christoffer Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Warriors of Gora™ booed when Newcastle United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Warriors of Gora™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Warriors of Gora™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
