Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Fernando Miguel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 7 minutes into the game, Futbol Club RRFV's Carlos Alberto de Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sulo Lahtela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alfred Ruohonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arto Hytönen in the 16th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Dorival do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulo Lahtela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Arto Hytönen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kultapossukerho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arto Hytönen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Miguel made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Arto Hytönen sent off a good shot on target. Sulo Lahtela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 37th minute of play. Fernando Miguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietari Jaakkola, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Kalevi Kiprusoff made a great header on Kultapossukerho's corner, it was just that Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Kultapossukerho's Arto Hytönen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Miguel. That made the score 1-1 after 45 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pietari Jaakkola to strike the kick off in the second half. Arto Hytönen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fernando Miguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Ruohonen in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kultapossukerho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kalevi Kiprusoff in the 57th minute. A nice corner shot did that Kalevi Kiprusoff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Miguel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute, Kalevi Kiprusoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietari Jaakkola in the 62nd minute of play. Dorival do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulo Lahtela having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alexsandro Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulo Lahtela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arto Hytönen in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kultapossukerho getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kalevi Kiprusoff hit a great ball. Marcel Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Kultapossukerho got a freekick which was hit by Jonni Laaksonen. Sulo Lahtela was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dedê Freire. In the 88th minute, one of Futbol Club RRFV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Futbol Club RRFV. After some careless play in the Futbol Club RRFV defense, Arto Hytönen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Miguel. The Futbol Club RRFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Miguel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietari Jaakkola in the 93rd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Leppilampi's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Leppilampi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Kultapossukerho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Leppilampi to maneuver through the defense. When Dedê Freire came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Futbol Club RRFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Freire couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arto Hytönen in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Miguel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kultapossukerho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
