After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Evaristo Cruz got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Östman in the 21st minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Fernando Miguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Newcastle United F.C. booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Walmarsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Futbol Club RRFV defense, Rickard Brodin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Miguel. The Futbol Club RRFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Miguel should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Östman made a kick off. Futbol Club RRFV's Fernando Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Högström in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Isac Walmarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Miguel. Futbol Club RRFV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Walmarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
