After 2 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Vellito. Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Les Howard, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Les Howard scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Quico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Gibbons in the 15th minute of the match. Alonzo Ortzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Liam Durrant made a huge save. Angelo Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Gibbons in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristram Gower in the 21st minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Tristram Gower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Quico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liam Durrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Ortzi in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Gibbons in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Quico saved Celtic FC from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Vellito to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Les Howard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Celtic FC's Angelo Quico didn't even have to move. 39 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Graham Long came free, but Angelo Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristram Gower in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes Celtic FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Les Howard who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Staffordshire Terrier FC's Les Howard to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Quico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Alonzo Ortzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celtic FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staffordshire Terrier FC the free kick. After the first half Staffordshire Terrier FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tristram Gower to make the kick off. Angelo Quico came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Les Howard. But to his dismay, Les Howard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 55th minute, Al Stockley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liam Durrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Pitin in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Pitin in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liam Durrant saved Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting behind. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Liam Durrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Ortzi in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Pitin in the 66th minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Liam Durrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winnie Beck hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Liam Durrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Fidele in the 73rd minute of the match. Angelo Quico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tristram Gower's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Winnie Beck hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Brian Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Ekialde during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
