The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Marti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinos Chaparro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lech Nakoneczny made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tsubasa Ozora sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Tsubasa Ozora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Russówek the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tsubasa Ozora to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Pliszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Algarrobo's José Chilavert got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Stasio Prusinowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Prusinowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tsubasa Ozora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Zagrodny to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Trochowski's late challenge caught a Algarrobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Trochowski helped the player get up and apologised. Bernard Trochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lech Nakoneczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Idoate in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Tadeusz Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Algarrobo's Jaume Charlin was substituted for Tsubasa Ozora. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeusz Pozorski to strike the kick off in the second half. Algarrobo's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Pozorski in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute, Adriel Argandoña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeusz Pozorskis short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Petr Čech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaume Charlin to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Adriel Argandoña came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Zagrodny hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tadeusz Pozorski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petr Čech came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeusz Pozorski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 67th minute. Jerzy Deput made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jerzy Pliszka however managed to control. After 71 played minutes Russówek got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Zagrodny. In the 72nd minute Jaume Charlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Hludzenski to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Adriel Argandoña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Algarrobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lech Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaume Charlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Jaume Charlin came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Russówek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
