Manuel Amânaloae started the match with the kick off. Raimundo Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Primo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Primo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Ruy in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Apolo Ruy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unai Simon was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Amânaloae in the 21st minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Ovidio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Unai Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Maraman. In the 26th minute, Vintilă Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Flavius Zdrenghea hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Dăianu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Felix Dobrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dobrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Goma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Maureo was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Manuel Amânaloae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Maureo having to make a save. Manuel Amânaloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sportivo Ben Hur's Ovidio Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Dobrea in the 46th minute of play. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Amânaloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Maraman to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandria Team08's Bogdan Goma got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amânaloae in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Bogdan Goma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Maureo. Bogdan Goma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 71st match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Txilar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandria Team08's Felix Dobrea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Maureo. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. Ovidio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes, Celso Incendio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Ben Hur and the Alexandria Team08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Celso Incendio. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Manuel Amânaloae hit a great ball. Bruno Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Bruno Maraman made a precise shot to the right of Unai Simon. Alexandria Team08's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Fabio Ferdinand got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sportivo Ben Hur's Desiderio Tancredo pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 91 minutes, Flavius Zdrenghea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alexandria Team08 and the Sportivo Ben Hur players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sportivo Ben Hur booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Zdrenghea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandria Team08 played a much better game than Sportivo Ben Hur and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Ben Hur players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
