If Sabino Telles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Danny Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Beliran. Celestiales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Filomeno Orlondon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celestiales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chihuahua StrikerS™ the free kick. In the 31st minute, Filomeno Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Bolas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Beliran. Isaias Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Isaias Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Bolas in the 41st minute of play. When Chihuahua StrikerS™'s Romão Furtado in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celestiales's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Chihuahua StrikerS™ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Pedro Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Celestiales defense, Pedro Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Beliran. The Celestiales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Beliran should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Celestiales's goalkeeper Isaias Beliran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romão Furtado. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Severo Veremundo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Isidoro Lop got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Aldo Sesimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chihuahua StrikerS™ were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Celestiales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lúcio Eanes took the corner. Danny Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Beliran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Isaias Beliran was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aldo Sesimbra. Pedro Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Beliran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Isaias Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Bolas in the 90th minute of play. Romão Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Isaias Beliran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
