The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roger de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Roger de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Olimpia HSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Galagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Damian Grucza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute, Arkadiusz Czajkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Roger de Souza came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Arkadiusz Czajkowski. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Czajkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Roger de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Cássio Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Czajkowski notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza. Roger de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Olimpia HSB defense, Rafa Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miromir Mikulski. The Olimpia HSB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miromir Mikulski should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Baptista made a kick off. If Arkadiusz Czajkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 51 minutes, André Luís de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ and the Olimpia HSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by André Luís de Almeida. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pedro Luís Porto hit a great ball. When Zachariasz Lukasik fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia HSB's protests and gave Zachariasz Lukasik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Zachariasz Lukasik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Baptista in the 60th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Miromir Mikulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Rafa Netto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Miromir Mikulski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger de Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arkadiusz Czajkowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 69 minute of play. Zbigniew Galagan scored 3-7 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miromir Mikulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Baptista in the 78th minute of play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Damian Grucza scored to the left of an out of position Roger de Souza, making the score, 3-8. Roger de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Puch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Arkadiusz Czajkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís de Almeida lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olimpia HSB:s goal.
