The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Fernandes during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ezequiel Fernandes hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Nesto. Alzaga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 35 minutes into the game, Placido Lia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. César Pereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elói Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Celso Felipillo hit a great ball. César Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Lia went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Barreto to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sérgio Madureira during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sérgio Madureira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Waldir Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Matorin in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Arsenal de Gols F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Barreto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Lia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving César Pereira. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Fernandes in the 66th minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Jorge Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. Alzaga FC's Humberto Manilan was substituted for Pedro Salamon.
