After a rather tough play, Бенковски Тетевен's Stoyne Stoyanov got a free kick in the 21st minute. Vaklin Kortov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Clementi in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Santos Bertol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El ultimo and the Бенковски Тетевен players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Бенковски Тетевен booed when El ultimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Бенковски Тетевен's protests and gave Mavrudi Tunev a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Niceto Pere was a little too slow when Paolo Di Canio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-1. When Mavrudi Tunev came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Бенковски Тетевен fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mavrudi Tunev couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Mavrudi Tunev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vaklin Kortov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Clementi in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Clementi came free, but Vaklin Kortov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Justo Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaklin Kortov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Santos Bertol hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, El ultimo's Justo Clementi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaklin Kortov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Бенковски Тетевен's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because El ultimo had won, even though Бенковски Тетевен had held more of the ball.
