Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) After a defensive mix-up in Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s zone, Sever Vintilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Bonadona came out of the goal and Sever Vintilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. János Oltean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Froilan Bonadona made a huge save. Tiberiu Vornicescu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiberiu Vornicescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Vornicescu. 18 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Norino came free, but Nechifor Epure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Bonadona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Ozon went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Ariel Montes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Epure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Froilan Bonadona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. from getting a goal against them. János Oltean's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Froilan Bonadona firmly grabbed it by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Mutu came free, but Froilan Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Mutu in the 39th minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Froilan Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Epure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Norino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Domingo Norino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Epure was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Montes to maneuver through the defense. When Iurie Mutu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Mutu couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xherdan Shaqiri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Epure having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Academia Rio's Marian Ozon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Bonadona was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's Iurie Mutu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Bonadona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Oltean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Nisio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. János Oltean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Bonadona having to interfere. Froilan Bonadona came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Rio's Marian Ozon. But to his dismay, Marian Ozon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Norino in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Epure saved Academia Rio from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Sever Vintilescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Rio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Mauro Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nechifor Epure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
