Kaká Goiano in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascual Transito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 11 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Leal came free, but Pascual Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Transito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Didi Gaúcho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. With an all-out effort, AF CERRADO's Pascual Transito threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Didi Gaúcho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pascual Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Renatinho Leal got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes, Rosario Central FC's Virgilio Ishmael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Augusto de Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosario Central FC reached it. After having played for 26 minutes, Paulo Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Precioso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureliano Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Ruy in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Kaká Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Transito. Rosario Central FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Cristo Ruy got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Cristo Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renatinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kaká Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Renatinho Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaká Goiano made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Didi Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Transito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Rosario Central FC defense, Kaká Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Transito. The Rosario Central FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Transito should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Precioso in the 58th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper José Augusto de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Renatinho Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Transito came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano. But to his dismay, Kaká Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 66th minute, Kaká Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Transito. Rosario Central FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Pascual Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Goiano in the 72nd minute of the match. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Kaká Goiano put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pascual Transito. 79 minutes into the game, Jefferson Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central FC the free kick. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jefferson Aparecido hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Aureliano Malvin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Augusto de Godoi, 8-1. José Augusto de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Precioso in the 91st minute of play. AF CERRADO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
