Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Buitenhout FC's Teodosio Johans started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Johans in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by Roel van Zalingen. In the 5th minute of the match Waka Barcellos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Cristofanini skillfully saved the ball. Eriberto Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Cristofanini having to make a save. Maximino Cristofanini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Caetano Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Cristofanini was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Waldir Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel van Zalingen in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Ramzinski got free with Waldir Peres in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximino Cristofanini came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Caetano Toscano. But to his dismay, Caetano Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 45th minute, Rick Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Cristofanini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Caetano Toscano made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rick Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Cristofanini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Robert Ramzinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roel van Zalingen came free, but Waldir Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cristofanini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Toscano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Cabezon in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Cristofanini saved Buitenhout FC from getting behind. Buitenhout FC's Maximino Cristofanini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Cabezon in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Amadeu Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Giuseppe Camargo replaced Eriberto Vidal. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amadeu Capixaba hit a great ball. With a little luck, Buitenhout FC's Maximino Cristofanini got control of the ball when Caetano Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodosio Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Peres having to interfere. Maximino Cristofanini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Cabezon in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Cabezon in the 93rd minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cristofanini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Teesing hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waka Barcellos tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
