In the 11th minute Tamás Holló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Holló came free, but Adrian Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 李煜 Wu in the 16th minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Péter Gulácsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Bark helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eric Bark hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, 李煜 Wu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but 李煜 Wu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Holló came free, but Adrian Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Sonstorps Fotboll were awarded a corner. Mark Dahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Újfalussy to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Mark Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Henter Somosd's Tamás Holló got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Fülöp in the 32nd minute of play forced Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tamás Holló in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Billberg saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Laczkó came free, but Adrian Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tamás Holló stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Árpád Sugár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Henter Somosd's Lajos Laczkó in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonstorps Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. Lajos Laczkó received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Billberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Lajos Laczkó slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 60th minute. Tamás Holló who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Adrian Billberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Róbert Újfalussy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonstorps Fotboll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mark Dahlberg in the 75th minute. Sonstorps Fotboll's Mark Dahlberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Péter Gulácsi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the game, Hannes Vereect was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Henter Somosd the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Vereect to maneuver through the defense. FC Henter Somosd's István Fülöp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adrian Billberg but with some difficulty. Saul Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. István Fülöp struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Adrian Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Henter Somosd. A hard shot 88 in the game by Tamás Holló from a close distance when the talented Adrian Billberg managed to make a qualified save. Sonstorps Fotboll's players were relieved. A collision led to FC Henter Somosd getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Szabolcs Nagy hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Henter Somosd's zone, Ignacio Donostia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Gulácsi came out of the goal and Ignacio Donostia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Henter Somosd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Henter Somosd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
