Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when György Kósa got the match started through his kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Teodor Finteșteanu put in a rough tackle. Teodor Finteșteanu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Dinu Gherguț hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Rosendo Tabby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. György Kósa scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosmin Galiceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Froilan Arnas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cosmin Galiceanu to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, Arnaldo Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Herrera in the 25th minute of the match. When Adrian Dragoș fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Valea Buzăului's protests and gave Adrian Dragoș a yellow card for diving instead. György Kósa succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Codruț Macaneață kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The nice shot from Froilan Arnas in the 32ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cosmin Galiceanu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 36th minute Gustaw Wicherek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Galiceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Beti hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Ivan Spineanu got a free kick in the 46th minute.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Iona Tudora managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters rose to their feet, but Iona Tudora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Osoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd match minute, LegionArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by György Kósa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Spineanu in the 54th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes of play, LegionArgentina's Marcos Herrera made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosmin Galiceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Spineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Saul Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Spineanu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Osoitz saved LegionArgentina from getting behind. Gustaw Wicherek took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmin Galiceanu. Cosmin Galiceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Codruț Macaneață hit a great ball. Cosmin Galiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LegionArgentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while -BZF- Valea Buzăului had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
