With a little luck, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho got control of the ball when Severino Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laerte Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute, Vítor da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Boedo Vengo fully deserved thier win.
