In the 27th minute of the match, Maurício Pimentel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dráuzio Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Isidoro Vilarinho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Minho FC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Minho FC's Maurício Pimentel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Jairo Calçada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palmiro Teixeira hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gustavo Baião made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roch Huchro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar da Costa in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Calçada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87thth minute of the game Edgar da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minho FC's Jairo Calçada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Minho FC booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bandelocos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Minho FC.
