Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hektor Krieglmeier kicked off to start the match. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Komara in the 5th minute of play. Kranji Crunchy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Handoko Andeas in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Handoko Andeas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uwe Ziege quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muladi Leonard in the 8th minute of play. Maruli Mandaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hektor Krieglmeier in the 12th minute. Vasco Jackisch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Emmanuel Komara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kranji Crunchy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hektor Krieglmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Emmanuel Komara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Ziege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Vasco Jackisch notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kranji Crunchy's Maruli Mandaga. Maruli Mandaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Komang Latuperisa during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kranji Crunchy getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Komang Latuperisa hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Hannes Kapell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Kapell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uwe Ziege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muladi Leonard in the 27th minute of the match. Maruli Mandaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Jackisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Komara in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Muladi Leonard might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uwe Ziege. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muladi Leonard ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Komara in the 34th minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper Uwe Ziege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Komara notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege. Uwe Ziege was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Komara in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Krieglmeier in the 48th minute of play forced Kranji Crunchy's goalkeeper Maruli Mandaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmanuel Komara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Komang Latuperisa lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 57th play minutes Vasco Jackisch shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Maruli Mandaga and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Muladi Leonard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kranji Crunchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Muladi Leonard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe Ziege breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Emmanuel Komara came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Kranji Crunchy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Komara couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Blumentritt. In the 71st minute, Emmanuel Komara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uwe Ziege. The goal made the score 3-4. Uwe Ziege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Komara went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Komara in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. In the 79th minute of the match, Emmanuel Komara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uwe Ziege saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 81 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Kapell. Maruli Mandaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Jackisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Kranji Crunchy's goal looked a bit too open when Hektor Krieglmeier came free, but Maruli Mandaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maruli Mandaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Jackisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Kranji Crunchy booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurizio Brink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uwe Ziege came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Kranji Crunchy's Emmanuel Komara. But to his dismay, Emmanuel Komara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. Emmanuel Komara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Uwe Ziege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Kranji Crunchy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rot-Weiss-Essen.
