Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Manuel in the 22nd minute of play. Ruperto Arano struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Meng Yan Jing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shuspendemo. In the 34th minute, Ruperto Arano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Meng Yan Jing. The goal made the score 2-0. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Arano in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meng Yan Jing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Czeszyk. Isaac Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meng Yan Jing having to interfere. After some careless play in the Abandon All Hope defense, Nicolas Cheche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meng Yan Jing. The Abandon All Hope fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meng Yan Jing should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Dedê de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Cheche in the 82nd minute of the match. Meng Yan Jing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Cheche went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abandon All Hope players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Shuspendemo.
