After 5 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Marek Tyskie. 9 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Pürro came free, but Miguel do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thunderstorm Riders's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Steiner was slow to take the kick. During this time Olympique Fribourg's players had a chance to rest. Remo Pürro made a great header on Olympique Fribourg's corner, it was just that Thunderstorm Riders's Miguel do Vale managed to reach the ball for a save. Marek Tyskie kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Jedrzej Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Gdaniec in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ziemowit Logewnik. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Ben Zehnder. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Steiner in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Olympique Fribourg's Mich Batshuayi in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thunderstorm Riders's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mich Batshuayi in the 36th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Gdaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mich Batshuayi in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel do Vale saved Thunderstorm Riders from getting behind. Miguel do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Pürro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marek Tyskie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes in the game, Mateo Esiquio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Miguel do Vale having to interfere. Ant Koyak kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Banaszak came free, but Miguel do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Miguel do Vale got control of the ball when Patryk Banaszak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Pürro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remo Pürro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Miguel do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patryk Banaszak in the 65th minute. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Dulka in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mich Batshuayi got free with Miguel do Vale in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patryk Banaszak hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Banaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Olympique Fribourg's Miguel do Vale threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mateo Esiquio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunderstorm Riders's Miromir Turok. But to his dismay, Miromir Turok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Ant Koyak got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Ben Zehnder. The Olympique Fribourg players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Thunderstorm Riders from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
