Wilfredo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Guzman during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Pindobassu EC got a corner. Terremoto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Pavard ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Beck in the 19th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Beck in the 21st minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jeff Beck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeledon Ferran. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeff Beck during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeff Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pastor Chap kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match, Jeff Beck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeledon Ferran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 43rd minute, but Zeledon Ferran got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Terremoto FC hanging dry this time. After 47 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Beck. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Chabier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto FC's Cornelio Hermelando. But to his dismay, Cornelio Hermelando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pindobassu EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Mirande was slow to take the kick. During this time Terremoto FC's players had a chance to rest. Terremoto FC's Hugo Mirande was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilfredo Rodriguez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan Chabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Rodriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Chabier ran back to his position shaking his head. Terremoto FC's Juan Bazil was substituted for Ovidio Belmiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Bazil during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Juras Damaševicius replaced Víktor Donatello. In the 68th minute, Juan Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Jeff Beck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zeledon Ferran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Melquiades Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Chabier in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Beck in the 89th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Melquiades Hurko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Rodriguez. Pindobassu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Hurko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
