In the 19th minute, Kris Palmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julio Asad kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. GuateFortín's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Côme Concha in the 24th minute of play. Alejo Salvino kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Sebastião Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gao Fei skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when 卫青 Wu came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Asad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gao Fei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Patricio Alvarado notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Real Racing Club's Gao Fei. Gao Fei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kris Palmann made a kick off. Carlos Navarro Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Palmann in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute Kris Palmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Douglas Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ferenc Sárközi replaced Patricio Alvarado. Real Racing Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
