After 27 minutes, Marcelo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnÐaRaHy and the Circus BAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Marcelo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Kennedy in the 30th minute of play forced Circus BAF's goalkeeper Jordy Steckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaldo Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute John Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Van Lancker was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AnÐaRaHy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
