Dave Savini helped the player get up and apologised. When Domenico Corsi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Seggiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Corsi couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Seggiano's Alvise Castellazzi got control of the ball when Cordarrol Chamochin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nacional booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Masi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Demario Caceo from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Alvise Castellazzi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dennis Carosella hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Pardini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Katia Villalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Pardini in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Augusto Pardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Katia Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Katia Villalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Corsi in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Domenico Corsi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Katia Villalobos. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Seggiano's Alvise Castellazzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrol Chamochin in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Augusto Pardini notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nacional's Katia Villalobos. Katia Villalobos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seggiano's Alvise Castellazzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Petit in the 77th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Seggiano got a corner. Nacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franco Fava ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Pardinis short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Katia Villalobos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, Herena Guion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seggiano the free kick. After 94 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Herena Guion. The Nacional supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seggiano's performance. The match ended with a win for Seggiano.
