Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredinho Freitas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Kacper Sroka fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SORRISO E. C.'s protests and gave Kacper Sroka a yellow card for diving instead. Kacper Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Edvaldo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Pimentel in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Ramos got free with Edvaldo Leal in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Davi Isac managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Isac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvaldo Leal made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when José Ramos sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Alfredinho Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zheko Kraychev's late challenge caught a SORRISO E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zheko Kraychev helped the player get up and apologised. José Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Gutierrez came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Davi Isac. But to his dismay, Davi Isac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zheko Kraychev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Leal having to interfere. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos was substituted for Humberto Moscoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diómedes Rodriguez in the 37th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Edvaldo Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Zheko Kraychev got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Valakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Edvaldo Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diómedes Rodriguez to make the kick off. Sergio Gutierrez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maicon Oliveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Sergio Gutierrez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredinho Freitas's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Diómedes Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Lambis Kostopoulos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Leal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfredinho Freitas had several of the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Sergio Gutierrez as he didn't even see the shot coming. When José Ramos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Kiko Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Davi Isac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Freitas in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Gutierrez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SORRISO E. C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
