The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Michael Hjelm hit a great ball. When 肖竞 came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fc Lothlorien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 肖竞 couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Urseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Stellan Sellberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dinu Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Sellberg in the 18th minute of play. Dinu Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Sander in the 20th minute of play. Dinu Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Sander in the 23rd minute. Polar Ice Caps's Ture Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾昆烨 in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes Polar Ice Caps's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 肖竞 who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Dinu Kent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sivert Sander. Polar Ice Caps's Ture Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Mălăele in the 33rd minute of play. Ture Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 顾昆烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Sander came free, but Dinu Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Mălăele scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ture Viklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Lucrețiu Mălăele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Fc Lothlorien were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Polar Ice Caps's Ture Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Mălăele in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Fc Lothlorien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Mălăele to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Sivert Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fc Lothlorien made a substitution. Costel Gâdea replaced Leandro Baptista. 69 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when 李霄鹏 Xara came free, but Ture Viklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustinian Urseanu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dinu Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Sander in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Sander in the 74th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Dinu Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polar Ice Caps were furious when Michael Hjelm was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hjelm to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ture Viklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Gheorghe. In the 79th minute Jack Lundblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Lucrețiu Mălăele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ture Viklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Urseanu's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Ture Viklund came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Lothlorien's Lucrețiu Mălăele. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Mălăele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Costel Gâdea's late challenge caught a Polar Ice Caps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Gâdea helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Zarrella took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinu Kent. Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
