DESTROY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brennan Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brennan Johnson in the 12th minute of play. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tasso FC from getting a goal against them. DESTROY's Laurids Baylund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Quin in the 30th minute of play. Santos Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Lobato having to interfere. Laurids Baylund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benedicto Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Quin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurids Baylund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Evaristo Macerio hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennan Johnson in the 52nd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DESTROY booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Machado Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. DESTROY's Per-Erik Vesterberg was substituted for Armando Maradona. 68 minutes into the game, DESTROY's Robert Söderlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Lobato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tasso FC made a substitution. Severiano Torcato replaced Santos Benet. Tasso FC made a substitution. Tasso FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
