Guido Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Antonio Cardoso made a huge save. A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Túlio Pintado with Teofilo Herauso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Herauso in the 16th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Aldo Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Almirante Brown's Aldo Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincente Felice in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Snorlax FC defense, Guido Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Cardoso. The Snorlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Cardoso should have stopped the shot. Antonio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Bautista in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Herauso in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Guido Bautista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Cardoso, 2-0. Aristides Rayman might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Rayman ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Antonio Cardoso got control of the ball when Guido Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vincente Felice made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Bautista in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes Snorlax FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Etxepare who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Teofilo Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snorlax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincente Felice in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Guido Bautista. Federico Quinteros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Cardoso. Snorlax FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antonio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Almirante Brown's Aldo Colon got control of the ball when Teofilo Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Túlio Pintado in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Almirante Brown's Federico Quinteros. Snorlax FC's Antonio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Bautista in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute Vincente Felice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Almirante Brown's Aldo Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Club Almirante Brown from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's Teofilo Herauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Colon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldo Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Bustunzuria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Almirante Brown fans cheered their team off the field, for while Snorlax FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
