Celso Berart started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Zhen Di got free with Marciano Lano in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Cabezon in the 9th minute of the match. Robin Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Hu Zhen Di had several of the Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marciano Lano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hjalmar Håkansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Marciano Lano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marciano Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Zhen Di, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Marciano Lano managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when The Northmen Army's Christian Olofsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute Roy Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hu Zhen Di received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marciano Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alejandro Esquipula hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Marciano Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Håkansson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Marciano Lano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Hao Yuan Guang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Northmen Army's Teobald Polakowski was substituted for Christian Olofsson. The Northmen Army made a substitution. Kiko Zimbo replaced Hu Zhen Di. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the The Northmen Army defense, Dale Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Bäckström. The The Northmen Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Bäckström should have stopped the shot. Kiko Zimbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Lano having to interfere. When The Northmen Army's Kiko Zimbo in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalie prevented a goal. The Northmen Army's Hjalmar Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, The Northmen Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Bozakov to maneuver through the defense. Robin Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Berart in the 81st minute. The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save The Northmen Army from getting a goal against them. Kiko Zimbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Hjalmar Håkansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Northmen Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Honorio Bonifaco charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Bonifaco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Honorio Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobald Polakowski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Dale Cabezon fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Dale Cabezon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Northmen Army booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Cabezon didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Northmen Army.
