Costel Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Hök in the 8th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Ke Zhou Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Hök in the 28th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Virgil Olariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Mike Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ke Zhou Yuan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Paralia Athens defense, Hans Hök kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgil Olariu. The Paralia Athens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgil Olariu should have stopped the shot. In the 37th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Manolescu to maneuver through the defense. Victor Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ke Zhou Yuan in the 42nd minute of play. Börje Törnblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Virgil Olariu made a huge save. Victor Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Käka Puck BK's Björn Johnsson was substituted for Hans Hök. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. Virgil Olariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Erik Öfverman's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Nedelcea to maneuver through the defense. Victor Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Palmquist hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Victor Sundström was a little too slow when Mike Cai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Paralia Athens made a substitution. Gürkan Akaydın replaced Ke Zhou Yuan. Victor Sundström came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's Mike Cai. But to his dismay, Mike Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 81 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Törnblom came free, but Virgil Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Käka Puck BK's Per-Erik Öfverman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Olariu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Öfverman, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gürkan Akaydın charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürkan Akaydın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Gürkan Akaydın got a free kick in the 90th minute. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Öfverman in the 91st minute of play. Mike Cai's late challenge caught a Käka Puck BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Cai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Mike Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Erik Öfverman might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgil Olariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Erik Öfverman ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
